No Solicitation for Outside Activities
You will not use the site to distribute or advertise commercial activities of other parties. You will not solicit BookaChat.com users to join outside sites or online services or organizations. Any material contained in this site is for your private personal use only. You may not download the material for commercial use.
Entering into Private Arrangements with Students
You may not accept tutor any students that have been introduced to you via BookaChat, other than by using the official BookaChat site. Failure to follow this rule will mean instant termination with no payment of outstanding fees.
Eligibility of Use of BookaChat.com
You must be 13 years old or older to be eligible for registering as a member of BookaChat.com.
Content Accuracy
BookaChat.com does not verify the identities of its members or guests, nor do we verify the accuracy of the content they post.
Limits of Liability
We are not liable for any harm or loss that results from you giving out of personal information over our site. We are not liable for any harm or loss that results from your use of any content from this site.
Your Contact Information
You may not write your email address or other contact information in the public sections of the community such as the teacher profile or the description sections of the teacher wanted ads or the teacher or learner reviews. You may only write your email address in the fields where it is expressly permitted.
Submissions
Any content you submit to BookaChat.com becomes the property of BookaChat. This includes but is not limited to ideas, concepts and designs you submit as suggestions to BookaChat.com.
BookaChat.com retains the right, in its sole discretion, to review, edit or delete from the service any material which BookaChat.com deems to be inappropriate.
Be Considerate to Others
This is a site for mature and considerate people to find and offer language help. Abuse and harassment will not be tolerated. If you treat others in an abusive or harassing manner, you will be banned

In addition, you will not upload any material that is illegal, libellous, defamatory, or anything that could violate the rights of other parties.
Any complaints about the language, behaviour and performance of a tutor will be investigated
Your Password
You will keep your password secret and will report any breach of security.

BookaChat.com reserves the right to terminate the account of anyone, for any reason, at any time without prior notice.

You agree to indemnify BookaChat and its affiliates harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your use of this Web site (BookaChat.com), your connection to the Web site, your violation of the BookaChat Terms of Service, or your violation of any rights of other users of this Web site.
Disclaimer of Warranty
All of the information on BookaChat.com is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind, and we disclaims all warranties either express or implied.

BookaChat.com reserves the right to change or modify any portion of the BookaChat Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.
Tutor Payments
Pay periods end at 12:00:01 am New Zealand time on the 1st of each month. For security reasons payment to tutors is made by Pay Pal only. The Pay Pal account must be in the same name as the tutor’s BookaChat email address.
Payment Threshold
Payment Threshold is a predetermined minimum amount of money you must have in your account before we pay the money into your account. This threshold is US$50. BookaChat holds your payment until your payable balance reaches this amount.
BookaChat’s Commission
BookaChat takes a 40% commission on every lesson payment with the minimum lesson charge being US$10. This amount includes Pay Pal and credit card charges.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
